Junior Cricket

Milford Hall CC offers cricketing options for children from ages of 7 through to 19 and have competitive teams stretching from U8’s through to U19 within Staffordshire.

Our aim is to maximise participation for children as they develop their love of the game. Our training and selection approach aims to give children of all abilities a chance to grow skills and have a go in a caring nurturing team environment.

Our fully qualified coaches provide structures training and support to allow children to develop their skills and capabilities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Parents can enjoy our clubhouse facilities during training sessions and match days at Milford Hall including the BBQ,s and decking area for those sunny days and sheltered surroundings of our lounge viewing areas for those cloudy days.

 

Juniors code of conduct

Learn the rules of the game.

Smile and enjoy your cricket.

Turn up promptly for training/matches. Inform your coach/manager if you are going to be late.

Payment of any fees for training or matches must be paid promptly.

Listen to your Coaches and Managers.

Do not argue with the officials (umpires and scorers) or other players.

Respect your team mates. Remember that no one is any better or more important to the team than anyone else.

Safety equipment must be worn, for hard ball cricket, box, gloves, helmet and pads.

Do not borrow other player’s equipment. Ask your coach for any item you do not have with you.

Applaud all good play from both teams.

Shake hands with your opponents at the end of a match.

Keep control of yourself.

No swearing.

No chewing gum.

Remember you are representing the club.
